Vamo vs Sweat
Sweat is trainer-led programmes for women from Kayla Itsines, Kelsey Wells and others: HIIT, strength, yoga, barre and Pilates, with more than 200 meals, a planner and an Apple Watch app. The programmes progress on a schedule, and if a movement is too hard you swap it yourself.
There is no free version. Vamo is not built around one trainer's style; it builds the plan from your goal, your kit and your numbers, and rewrites it from what you logged.

The difference
What Vamo does that Sweat does not
Your numbers, not a schedule
Sweat's programmes progress week by week for everyone on them. Vamo's ramp from your starting volume, set effort in reps in reserve, and take working weights from what you lifted last time.
The rewrite
In Sweat you swap a movement when it is too hard. In Vamo the weekly check-in does the adjusting: recovery, injury and personal bests all change the next week, and the app explains what changed.
Food with targets
Sweat gives you meals. Vamo sets calories and macros from your goal and your sessions, builds the week to hit them, and lets you swap a meal in one tap.
Questions
Vamo or Sweat?
Is Sweat free?
No. Sweat is free to download and ongoing use needs a subscription, with a 7-day free trial on monthly plans. UK monthly plans are listed at £9.99 to £18.99, and a year is £99.99.
Is Vamo for women?
Vamo is for anyone. It builds the plan from your goal, training age, kit, injuries and logs, not from a template for one group. Sweat is designed for women and says so; if that is what you want, it is a strong choice.
Do Sweat programmes adapt?
They progress on a schedule, and the app lets you substitute an exercise to make it harder or easier. Sweat does not describe the plan changing automatically with your results. Vamo does that from your check-in and logged sessions.
Which is cheaper?
Month to month, Vamo at £7.99 is below Sweat's £9.99 to £18.99 tiers. Paid yearly, Sweat is £99.99 and twelve months of Vamo is £95.88.
